Motorcycle insurance is required in the state of New Mexico for all motorcycles and there is a minimum compulsory liability of:
- Bodily Injury Liability Limit for Individual: $25,000
- Bodily Injury Liability Limit for Every Person in Accident: $50,000
- Property Damage Liability Limit: $10,000

Helmet Laws
The law in New Mexico states the mandatory use of protective helmets requiring that persons 17 years and under must wear a safety helmet when operating or riding on a motorcycle. We strongly advocate the use of helmets at all times for all riders and passengers to protect from injuries.
